 ALbert system oboe from Conn

Hello,
normaly i am a clarinettist (and dont speak good english, i am sorry). I love the sound of the oboe very much. I now hav an offer for a oboe from conn with albert system (the seller told me it is supposed to be 100 to 120 years old). Is t possible to get the full specrum out of such an instrument and does it have such a nixe sound like newer instruments?
