 Gautrotaine Brevete A Paris (?)
Author: Seamus Kirkpatrick

Can anyone offer any help in identifying the history of an albert system clarinet that seems to be the brand 'Gautrotaine Brevete A Paris'?
There is a logo on the bell as well that is a G and an A in a circle with a ship's anchor and rope. The company also seem to have won a medal at a Paris Exposition...

any help hugely appreciated

thanks
Seamus

Have a look on Google, but search on "Gautrot".

The firm was Gautrot, Aine & Cie c 1880+ and ended up taken over by Couneson, I think.
